| Name: Tim Richens
Played for Cheddar in the early 80’s, a promising young cricketer until he discovered the Butcher’s Arms (the Riverside to the under-30’s).
Affectionately known as “Hooter” for the obvious reasons, although the belly does detract from that slightly! Tim is a canny off spinner with a sound tactical cricket brain and superb organisational skills. He will prove a great asset to the newly formed fourth team. He goes down in Cheddar CC folklore, where somewhere in an old score book it reads “Batsman – Tim Richens How out – Presumed Drunk”.
