| Name: Sam Dibb
Dibber is already becoming a batting legend at Cheddar, this young man can then let loose a fantastic array of attacking strokes out of the draw marked “Agricultural”. His arrival at the crease leaves opposition teams trembling as he takes guard and gets his dad to re-tie the laces of the now famous black daps. He is a great student, having watched lots of cricket on TV he has perfected the art of the slo-mo replay when running between wickets, skidding to halt in the daps. Being young, he still has much to learn however. Shouting “Home” on the completion of a run has become a little embarrassing and hard to explain to opposing teams now. Also, the idea that you can only run to first base if you tip it behind really needs to be forgotten. Dibber will never be forgotten after his legendary innings of 94 at Horrington a couple of years ago when his partner turned for a fourth run, poor Sam was run out 10 yards short of his second
